I am a Charted Accountant with 14 years' experience at a global accountancy firm, specialising in financial audit, and now work for the industry regulator. I have been a governor since 2017 when I moved to the area, and my daughter has since joined the school and is currently in Year 4.

I have always wanted to be involved in education and whilst I haven't trained to be a teacher this felt like the best way to be able to make a difference to the local community. I absolutely loved my own school years and know that this passion for learning from an early age has made a huge difference to my life. Every child deserves to have the same experience and as a governor, I will help maintain and develop the quality of education Manor Park delivers for current and future generations of pupils.

Having been elected Co-Chair of Governors with Debs Ridgewell in 2022 my main aim is to bring a different perspective and way of thinking to the leadership of the school, challenging strategy plus where needed providing financial expertise and scrutiny whilst supporting the senior leadership team in underpinning the school's vision. In sharing this important role with Debs I believe we are each able to bring our individual strengths together and collaborate for the benefit of the school and wider community in helping the school achieve the best outcomes for the children. 

Outside of work life and being a parent you will most likely find me swimming, travelling or crafting.
