I am pleased to have joined Manor Park in 2021, first as Deputy Headteacher and then as Acting Headteacher. I have been substantive Headteacher since December 2023 and am incredibly proud to lead such an amazing school.

After graduating from Liverpool University with a BSc Honours degree in Psychology I decided that I wanted to teach and completed my PGCE at Newman University College. The majority of my teaching career has been in Birmingham, where I have held a number of roles including Assistant Headteacher and Specialist Leader of Education. More recently I worked internationally as Vice Principal at a school in the United Arab Emirates.  

Working in schools is my passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else! I am so proud to be part of the Manor Park team and to work alongside such dedicated staff to ensure all our children have an amazing school experience.  

Outside of school I love to read and go to the theatre. I am also a keen scuba diver and love spending time around water doing activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding.
