We look forward to welcoming new children and families to Manor Park Primary School.
Manor Park Primary School has places for 78 children in Nursery and an admission number of 90 children in each year group from Reception to Year 6.
Admissions to school places are coordinated by Coventry City Council. The information below explains where to find guidance about starting Reception, joining the school during the year and the arrangements used to allocate places.
Applying for a school place
Starting Reception
Applications for Reception places are made through your home local authority. Coventry City Council publishes the application process, key dates and guidance for families.
Reception admissions and applications ↗Joining Manor Park in another year group
If you are moving into the area or would like your child to change schools, please consult Coventry City Council's in-year admissions guidance for the current school year.
In-year admissions guidance ↗How places are allocated
When there are more applications than available places, the relevant published admissions arrangements determine the priority given to applications. The criteria currently summarised on Manor Park's website are:
- Children living in the school's catchment area who have an older brother or sister at the school who will continue to attend the following year.
- Other children living in the school's catchment area.
- Children with an older brother or sister at the school who will continue to attend the following year.
- Other children, prioritised by distance from the school.
Where necessary, distance is used to prioritise applications within a category. The full published admissions policy and Coventry City Council's current arrangements take precedence over this summary.
